Lorenzo’s de Mesilla is most noted for their commitment to live entertainment on the weekends. Every Friday for the past 8 years, it’s been live jazz with Roman Chip and Miguel Torres. Most recently, Saturdays have been the accomplished guitarist James Clarkston. Customers are really enjoying his performance!
When the restaurant is full and the mood is right, Lorenzo leads the guests in singing, That’s Amore by Dean Martin. That sing-a-long is followed by a drawing for a gift card and some lucky winner eats for free that night! It’s a treat to witness the Famous Dollar Bill trick performed by Lorenzo himself. When you enter the restaurant it’s hard not to notice all the dollar bills stuck to the ceiling. There are also times when you will catch Lorenzo doing table-side magic to entertain the guests. It’s a fun place to be!
During the summer months, Lorenzo’s has their “Summer Jazz Series”. These are full on Jazz Bands who play under the stars in our beautiful, charming courtyard. These concerts are once a month on Saturdays beginning in May and going through September. It’s a magical evening you don’t want to miss!
And finally, Lorenzo’s de Mesilla is thee place to be on Valentine’s Day- the decorations, the live music, the giveaways, the flowers, etc.. We don’t take reservations, but even the wait is entertaining! Treat your Valentine to the most memorable and romantic evening at Lorenzo’s de Mesilla.
